BISS CH. SHENANWOOD AIN'T GOT NOTHIN' ON ME, ROMX

Meet Louie - our winning Wyatt son who followed nicely in his father's pawprints.

Louie was from our "Ides of March" litter - born March 15, 2001.  He is from Wyatt's first litter and what a litter.  Co-bred with Andi and Roy Struble, all three puppies in the litter finished their championships.

During 2004, Louie was shown and finished up the year as the #3 Tibetan Spaniel - always owner-handled.  Below are two of the important moments of his career.  At the Blue and Gold Cluster in Harrisburg in April,  Louie won the breed at Harrisburg Kennel Club and went on to place 3rd in a highly competitive Non-Sporting Group.  Televised on Animal Planet, Louie was one of the featured winners with a short interview with me and Louie.

The bright lights did not bother Louie as he moved in the Non-Sporting Group.

Over the next few months, Louie continued winning with many nice Best of Breed and Group Placement wins.  At the end of September, we went to the Wine Country Circuit and the Finger Lakes Tibetan Spaniel Association Specialty show.  Under judge Dorothy Nickles, Louie was Best of Breed at the FLTSA specialty.   Ms. Nickles also awarded Louie 1st place in the Non-Sporting Group the following day after Mrs. Wanda Spediacci had given him Best of Breed.
During 2005, Louie was shown on a limited basis and still ended up as the #8 Tibetan Spaniel. He is currently enjoying life with us and looking forward to siring a litter or two in 2010. Who knows - maybe he will come out and play as a Veteran in the future.
