Slim is the newest Tibroke Tibetan Spaniel to move to New York.  I have to thank Kay for continuing to share "her good ones" with us.  We are thrilled to have him here, both as a show dog for 2009 and to bring in some wonderful new bloodlines to combine with our girls to continue our goal of producing top tibbies.  The photo below shows Slim as a youngster - I thought he was gorgeous and when he became available, I just had to have him.

Although I had orginally gotten Slim to use in our breeding program, once he arrived and looked great, I decided to enter him in a few shows.  He had some nice wins during 2009, including being awarded an Award of Merit at the Tibetan Spaniel Club of American National Specialty in Dallas, Texas on July 2, 2009.  This win, pictured below shows, from left to right, Judge Lester Mapes, Slim and me, Kay Dickeson and TSCA President Mallory Driskill.

We welcomed our first Slim litter on May 1, 2010.  Hopefully there will be more Slim babies in 2011.

As for Slim, he is enjoying "retirement" at home - at least for now.  Once he becomes eligible for Veteran's, he will be back out.  Relaxation is wonderful!
